when I was a little kid, this area was all wetlands and giant pits that were used as a dumping ground. there were washing machines and stoves and they looked tiny down there. later, there were dirt bike tracks and later than that, houses. they filled in the pits, and they filled in the ponds and they built. this is all that is left, now.
